nihilism

Ashton has always been the light. And he’s so bright, I feel myself becoming dimmer. I don’t blame Ashton, nor do I think it’s his fault. I give him the spotlight, because I prefer the darkness.

Darkness is the absence of light. And what’s the point if there’s no light? There’s been a new light in my life recently. Her name is Rania. Rania has this way of silently communicating with me. It’s as if our minds are connected.

She’s the only person that I connect with on a deeper level. A level unknown to mankind. That connection terrifies me. It shouldn’t be possible for someone to look at me. Because most people simply see through me.

Her light makes me feel something. It makes me feel as if I’m more than what I perceive myself to be. Which makes me feel uncomfortable. I don’t believe myself to be the best. I don’t believe myself to be anything special.
